Worshipful Master - David Martinmaas The Worshipful Master sits in the East of the lodge room, chairs all of the business of his lodge, and is vested with considerable powers without further reference to the members. He also presides over ritual and ceremonies. |
Senior Warden - Patrick Pope The Senior Warden of a Masonic Lodge sits in the West (symbolic of the setting sun) and assists the Worshipful Master in opening and closing the Lodge. The Senior Warden is in charge of the Lodge when it is at labor. His position is similar to a Vice-President of any organization. |
Junior Warden - Juan Carlos Field (JC) The Junior Warden is responsible for the affairs of the Masonic Lodge when the Lodge is at refreshment or at ease. The Junior Warden has to arrange meals for the Lodge. He has two stewards that are his assistants. The Junior Warden ensures that refreshments are in moderation and there is no excess. |
Senior Deacon - Drew Tsiboukis The principal duties of the Senior Deacon are to conduct candidates around the Lodge and speak for them during certain ceremonies, to attend the Worshipful Master as needed and to carry his orders to the Senior Warden. |
Junior Deacon - Gary Fleming The Junior Deacon is responsible for controlling access to the Lodge Room via the main door, and if an alarm is caused at the door, he must report it to the Worshipful Master. The Junior Deacon is responsible for ensuring the the Tyler is adequately guarding the door of the Lodge Room. |
Secretary - Anthony Chase The duties of the Secretary are: Observe the will and pleasure of the Worshipful Master in recording the proceedings of the Lodge; transmit a copy thereof to the Grand Lodge when requested. |
Treasurer - Gene Foster The role of the Treasurer is to keep the accounts, collect annual dues from the members, pay bills, and forward annual dues to the Grand Lodge. |
Senior Steward - Brian Palermo Stewards are often tasked with an understudy role to fill the position of the Senior Deacon or Junior Deacon, in their absence. When a degree ceremony is performed, one or more Steward(s) may be required to assist the two Deacons in conducting the candidates around the temple. |
Junior Steward - Mason Boen There are 2 Stewards - a Junior Steward and a Senior Steward. The Junior Steward's position is the first step in what is likely to be Master of the Lodge in 7 years. He participates in the initiation ceremonys and assists the Senior Steward who assistes the Junior Warden. |
Chaplain - Vern Harris In most Masonic jurisdictions, each lodge will have a 'Chaplain'. The principal duty of the Chaplain is to lead prayer before and after the lodge meeting, and to say grace while the lodge is at dinner. |
Marshal - Joshua Bushman The Marshal is the Lodge's Conductor or Master of Ceremonies. The Marshal's duties and principle role is the organization of processions and ensuring the correct precedence and etiquette in formal proceedings |
Tiler - Alex Sims The Tiler is charged with keeping the Lodge register of attending members and visitors and making sure that all Masons are properly attired with an apron upon entering the Lodge. |
Historian - James Nye Maintaining the archives of minutes, sign-in books, including photos of PMs, officers, events etc., researching and locating photos of PMs long dead, encouraging members to write/record their memories of the lodge, to write or compile writings for lodge anniversary books. |
Organist - Andy Zobrist A Masonic event is not one to showcase the organist. True: the duty of the organist is to create the atmosphere whether that be contemplative for the quieter parts of our ceremonies, or strident, robust and inspiring for grand fanfares and processions. |
